Sorry about last month NESers, my laziness got ahold of me, anyway, this months site isn't strictly an NES site, but a site dedicated to what many believe to be the best game series on the NES, that's right-Mega Man.

As far as Mega Man information, strategy and storyline goes, this place can't be topped, want to know the recommended boss order for Mega Man 5? How about a password crack for Mega Man 3? Or do you want to read up on the backstory for Protoman/Blues/Breakman? Well, you can, it's ALL here.

The layout is nice and simple, almost all the sections are accessible from the front page, my only gripe is that all the info for each game isn't on one page, in other words, hints for Mega Man 2, and reviews for it are on seperate pages, but reviews are accessible from the game hints pages but not vice versa, what's up with that? But in the long run, it's nothing to complain about, after all that's what the "Back" button on your browsers are for.

Now for the content itself, like I said before, you can find everything you want to know from the Mega Man games. The game hints pages cover general information about each game like plot, special features and boss order. The tips and hints pages go more indepth ranging from general tips to game specific ones. Ms. Paugh's ratings for the games are honest and accurate, albeit, a little short. She even describes the endings for the Mega Man games, and puts them in order from her favorites to her least. The sound page is a welcome addition as well considering the great music of the Mega Man series.

As for other stuff, well the most obvious has to be that fact that Ms. Paugh has written her own fanfiction series. I personally haven't read any of the books(except for the Mega Man 3 one, which I thought was pretty good). From their descriptions, they sound pretty entertaining, with cameo appearances from Captain N, you know they have to be good:D Her art for the book covers is very nice as well.

Overall, this is one of the best game series specific sites you'll ever visit. This site is simply loaded with all the info you could ever want. You won't spend only one day here. Hell, you could probably spend a week here and not even read all the info. The webmaster is the true definition of a Mega Man fanatic(which nessicarily isn't a bad thing :P). Very impressive work. After visiting this Mega Man page, you won't find any need to visit another one.
